IN SOME FAR DISTANT TIME by CATHERINE BRADSHAW

First Line: IN SOME FAR DISTANT TIME A DAY MAY DAWN
Last Line: AND SCATTERED FAR ON LAZY WINDS OF DAWN.

In some far distant time a day may dawn
When streets low-hung with royal fragrant blooms
And sounds that greet the silent fall of dusk
Will rouse no sudden pain within my breast.
Some day -- but all of me will then be dust
And scattered far on lazy winds of dawn.
