MESSAGE by ANNE MILLAY BREMER

First Line: CITY TOILERS IN TUMULT AND NOISE
Last Line: SEE, YOU HAVE MISSED ALL THE DAISIES!
Subject(s): AVIATION & AVIATORS; CITIES; TRAVEL; AIRPLANES; AIR PILOTS; URBAN LIFE; JOURNEYS; TRIPS;

CITY toilers in tumult and noise
Tied to a wheel madly whirling,
Nature has balm to soothe taut nerves
Harrowed by routine and hurry.
Lift tired eyes to quiet skies:
Stars that are eons in making;

Meadow-grass is cool to the touch,
Dwellers in narrow spaces;
In your aeroplane-haste intent,
See, you have missed all the daisies!
