MIST by ANNE MILLAY BREMER

First Line: DAMP VEILS ARE HANGING OVER
Last Line: SHIVERING, SHIVERING, IN DYING DAY.
Subject(s): MIST;

DAMP veils are hanging over
Bent trees, like sorrow
Dripping, dripping, and ghostly gray.

I hear in the silence
Something creeping:
Shivering, shivering, in dying day.
