LITTLE PATH by MARTHA MARDEN BRIGGS

First Line: LITTLE PATH, WHERE, WHERE ARE YOU RUNNING
Last Line: OR IS IT EVERYWHERE, LITTLE PATH?
Subject(s): HEAVEN; ROADS; PARADISE; PATHS; TRAILS;

Little path, where, where are you running
Night and day?
Weary people, hopeful people hurrying
On their way?
Oh, little path, take me somewhere:
The place that sun and shadow meet.

Little path, oh run your wildest way,
I'll run too,
For here I do not wish to stay --
Away from you.
Will we find more Heaven is there,
Or is it everywhere, little path?
