O dawn, with early rising almost before it is light, and preparations for a long journey! O day, with children playing by the roadside, and greetings exchanged, and cheery demeanor! And somewhere, unseen, over all, the same unapproachable eyes looking as ever down. | Discover our Poem Explanations and Poet Analyses!Other Poems of Interest...THE ROSE AND THE BEE by SARA TEASDALE BLUEFLAGS by WILLIAM CARLOS WILLIAMS SONNET: 57 by WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE THE WITHERED ROSE by PHILIP AYRES THE BIRD FANCIER by WILLIAM ROSE BENET AUGURY by EDMUND CHARLES BLUNDEN THE LITTLE FRIEND; WRITTEN IN THE BOOK WHICH SHE MADE & SENT by ELIZABETH BARRETT BROWNING CHARADES: 4 by CHARLES STUART CALVERLEY THE CANTERBURY TALES: THE REEVE'S PROLOGUE by GEOFFREY CHAUCER |
