SOFT FEATHERS SPURNED by RUTH CARROLL

First Line: I DON'T LIKE MY PILLOW - NOW
Last Line: THAT I WILL BE CONTENT WITH SLEEP.
Subject(s): SLEEP;

I don't like my pillow -- now.
The smug look on its fat and foolish face
Reveals belief that it can take your place.

With pride it cries, "Look at me!
I offer peace -- tranquillity."
Oh God! Who wants tranquillity?

I want you -- hot lips, warm breath
To make my pulses leap.
While my poor pedantic pillow thinks
That I will be content with @3sleep@1.
