SNOW by BEULA CHAMBERLAIN

First Line: THERE HAS BEEN SNOW ON FRESH-TURNED GRAVES
Last Line: THE LONG NIGHT THROUGH.
Subject(s): CEMETERIES; GRAVES; MOURNING; GRAVEYARDS; TOMBS; TOMBSTONES; BEREAVEMENT;

There has been snow on fresh-turned graves
Since earth was new;
And now it snows, there is just one more
To be wrapped from view,
And another mourner to watch it falling
The long night through.
