MIRAGE by RICHARD THOMAS CHURCH

First Line: I SAW A MAN ON A HORSE
Last Line: THEN THE HORSEMAN WAS GONE.
Subject(s): MIRAGES;

I saw a man on a horse
Riding against the sun.
"Hallo! Don Cossack," I cried.
He shouted, "Hallo, my son!"

The Caspian Sea shimmered;
The Kazak tents shone
For a moment in England,
Then the horseman was gone.
