YESTERDAY by DIMP MILLIKIN CLEVENGER

First Line: HE USED TO SMOKE HIS BRIAR PIPE
Last Line: BUT THAT WAS YESTERDAY.
Subject(s): PAST; SMOKING; TOBACCO; PIPES; CIGARS; CIGARETTES;

He used to smoke his briar pipe
When he would be alone,
It seemed to make him happy
And wish to be at home.
He would puff the smoke in little rings,
Then watch them sail away;
It gave him so much pleasure,
But that was yesterday.
