THE DIFFERENCE by SAMUEL VALENTINE COLE

First Line: LET TWO GO FORTH INTO THE GARDEN OF LIFE
Last Line: THEY FIND THEMSELVES, AND THAT IS ALL THEY FIND.
Subject(s): FLOWERS; GARDENS & GARDENING; HEAVEN; PARADISE;

LET two go forth into the Garden of Life,
And one returns with roses: he likes flowers;
And one with darnel, henbane, thistles: why,
When flowers are plenty? Just his taste for weeds.
Where'er men go, in heaven, or earth, or hell,
They find themselves, and that is all they find.
