TULIP BLOOMS by BARBARA RUTH COLLINS

First Line: ALL THE TULIPS BY HER YARD / WERE WARPED
Last Line: ON BRAVE LIPS, PALE AND THIN.
Subject(s): TULIPS;

All the tulips by her yard
Were warped with wind and rain;
All the buds were twisted
As wry lips with bitter pain.
All the tulips in his yard
Were twisted by the rain and wind,
But still they blossom like a smile
On brave lips, pale and thin.
