POEMS FOR EASTER: 2 by ELIZABETH WILLIAMS COSGROVE

First Line: ANGEL, FROM MY HEART THIS DAY
Last Line: ROLL THE STONE OF DOUBT AWAY.
Subject(s): EASTER; HOLIDAYS; THE RESURRECTION;

Angel, from my heart this day
Roll the stone of doubt away.

Unstop my ears that I may hear
Your gentle voice, accustomed, near.

Unveil my eyes that I may see
That you are walking here with me.

In tender hands my spirit buoy
To reach some unimagined joy.

Angel, from my heart this day --
Roll the stone of doubt away.
