THE POET SPEAKS by LOTUS J. COSTIGAN

First Line: GOD VEILS THE MOUNTAINS WITH VIOLET-MIST CURTAINS
Last Line: BUT ONLY THE POET WILL BE ARTICULATE!
Subject(s): POETRY & POETS;

God veils the mountains with violet-mist curtains;
White-crowned, magnificent, invisible they wait.

God chooses grandeur as his cryptic symbol;
Man will never weary, his soul shall contemplate.

When God unveils the mountains man will be enraptured ...
But only the poet will be articulate!
