DISILLUSION by GLADYS CROMWELL

First Line: ONLY A BLUNDER
Last Line: IS NOT DEAD, THOUGH I MISUNDERSTOOD.
Subject(s): ERRORS; LOVE; MISTAKES; FALLACIES;

ONLY a blunder,
I mistook you for somebody else!
Shall I tell you? I thought you were God,
So beauteously you strode.

Now I wonder;
I pay for my folly with pain!
I must bury my faith. But all good
Is not dead, though I misunderstood.
