SUNSETS by FLORENCE BOYCE DAVIS

First Line: GOD, YOU NEED NOT MAKE FOR ME
Last Line: BY YOUR SUNSETS IN THE WEST.
Subject(s): EVENING; SUNSET; TWILIGHT;

God, You need not make for me
Doctrines of Infinity—
Just a sunset in the west,
Never mind about the rest;
To my queries You reply
When You paint the evening sky;
Seems to me I know You best
By Your sunsets in the west.
