SPRING by RUTH L. DROWNS

First Line: CLOUDS WALKING ACROSS THE SUN
Last Line: TO VIEW SUCH PERFECT PAGEANTRY.
Subject(s): SPRING;

Clouds walking across the sun,
The leaves' soft symphony begun,
Whispering witchery of nature's play
Announce to me this first spring day.

A year I've waited patiently
To view such perfect pageantry.
