PICKANINNY by ELLEN EARL

First Line: BLACK-EYED PICKANINNY
Last Line: MAMMY'S LITTLE KING.
Subject(s): COTTON;

Black-eyed pickaninny
Someone's little tot,
On a pile of cotton
Where the sun is hot.

Someone's lump of sugar,
With a curly top.
Tiny feet a kicking
Little candy drop.

With a sack to shade you,
While the darkies sing.
Black-eyed pickaninny
Mammy's little King.
