BACK TO EARTH by AGNES I. EASON

First Line: I STOOD ON THE MOUNTAIN TOP
Last Line: GREW BELOW!

I stood on the mountain top,
With fanfare of trumpet,
Blazing was the sunshine
On my white armor,
Nothing but desolate
Space above!

I fell from the mountain top,
Fell to depths of the valley,
Soiled my white armor,
Broken my trumpet,
But -- exquisite violets
Grew below!
