THE WATERLESS BRIDGE by ROWLAND EYLES EGERTON-WARBURTON

First Line: OF WATER THOUGH THE CHANNEL BARE IS
Last Line: A LITTLE WATER BUY.
Subject(s): BRIDGES; WATER;

OF water though the channel bare is,
A royal bridge at Manzanarès
Uprears its arch on high;
That costly bridge, if it were sold,
Then might King Philip with the gold
A little water buy.
