IN TUSCANY: MINOR NOTES; TWELVE RISPETTI: 1 by CORA RANDALL FABBRI

First Line: I SEARCH AMONG THE FLOWERS IN THE GRASS
Last Line: SEEKING THE LITTLE HEART I CANNOT FIND.

I SEARCH among the flowers in the grass,
And in the trees, and in the new, young Spring,
For I have lost a little Heart, alas!
A little Heart which was so sweet a thing.
And all day long I move my weary feet,
Seeking the little Heart which was so sweet;
And all night long I wander with the wind,
Seeking the little Heart I cannot find.
