THE WIND-SWEPT TREE by ZENOBIA CRUTCHER FEINEMAN

First Line: I DO NOT MISS
Last Line: AND BLOOM AROUND MY FEET.
Subject(s): TREES;

I do not miss
The limbs I lost, nor mind the scars
I won in thick of battle's heat
Because of this --
Anemones now share my sun and stars
And bloom around my feet.
