First Line: WHEN THE FIRST CHIME THEY SAID ''TIS CHRIST IN MANGER LAID --'
Last Line: THEN SOON THE GREAT BELLS TOLL FOR A DEPARTED SOUL.
Subject(s): BELLS; LIFE;
With the first chime they said "'Tis Christ in manger laid. . . ."

The bells ring out full tide: "O happiness! My bride!"

Then soon the great bells toll for a departed soul.
