THE CO-ED'S TRIAL BALANCE by ANNA MANLEY GALT

First Line: THIS JAUNTY HAT WAS TOPSY'S
Last Line: THESE SHOES...THEY MUST BE MINE!
Subject(s): CLASSMATES; GIRLS; SCHOOLMATES;

This jaunty hat was Topsy's.
The blouse belongs to Rose.
And I always rush the Jordan girls
When I need a pair of hose.
Jo Ann's best formal is my pet...
I love its sea-green hues...
But I really can't remember
Just where I got these shoes

My favorite campus costume
Is a jitter-bug jackette;
I borrowed it from Alice,
Oh perhaps...was it Jeanette?
I date in Peg's angora knit
And they say I look divine.
There can't be any other way,
These shoes...they must be mine!
