REMEMBRANCE by ELSIE GLENN

First Line: WHY DO I BOTHER TO THINK OF YOU ON RAINY DAYS?
Last Line: NOW THAT I HAVE NO RIGHT?
Subject(s): ABSENCE; THOUGHT; SEPARATION; ISOLATION; THINKING;

Why do I bother to think of you on rainy days?
I guess it's because we walked together in the rain—at night!
I'll always remember that look in your sweet blue-grey eyes.
But why should I think of you at all—
Now that I have no right?
