THE POEMS OF COLD MOUNTAIN: 62 by HAN SHAN

First Line: STRAINING ITS EYES IT SCANS THE HORIZON
Last Line: A TAILORBIRD ON THE WAVES
Subject(s): CHINESE LITERATURE; HEAVEN; PARADISE;

Straining its eyes it scans the horizon
clouds obscure the four quarters
owls and crows are fed and relaxed
the phoenix is hungry and anxious
fine steeds are grazed on the @3gobi@1
lame donkeys allowed at court
Heaven is too high to hear
a tailorbird on the waves
