THE INTERNATIONALISTS by PHILIP M. HARDING

First Line: FREED FROM TRADITION'S BLOODY RACKS
Last Line: WORTH ONE SPLIT-SECOND OF THEIR LIVES!
Subject(s): COOPERATION; NATIONS; SOLDIERS; WAR;

Freed from Tradition's bloody racks,
New Youth breaks through its stinking moats—
The hands of God upon their backs,
The song of Christ along their throats!

They come! New challenges are hurled
Up stars! ... Arm-linked, beside their wives,
There's no flag in the whole wide world
Worth one split-second of their lives!
