UPON HIS JULIA by ROBERT HERRICK

Poet Analysis

First Line: WILL YE HEARE, WHAT I CAN SAY
Last Line: THE OTHER PARTS WILL RICHLY PLEASE.
Subject(s): BODIES;

Will ye heare, what I can say
Briefly of my Julia?
Black and rowling is her eye,
Double chinn'd, and forehead high:
Lips she has, all Rubie red,
Cheeks like Creame Enclarited:
And a nose that is the grace
And Proscenium of her face.
So that we may guesse by these,
The other parts will richly please.
