Poet Analysis

First Line: A WORDLESS KISS, A STIFLED SIGH
Last Line: THE CRUSE HAS FAILED, THE LAMP MUST DIE!

A wordless kiss, a stifled sigh,
A trembling lip, a downcast eye,
"Alas," they say,
"A-day, a-day,"
The cruse has failed, the lamp must die!
