Poet Analysis

First Line: I CANNOT SEE BEYOND THE RIM
Last Line: BEFORE THE SANDS HAVE RUN.

I cannot see beyond the rim
Of this day's dying sun
I'm using all my holdings up
To get this measure done.

And when tomorrow swings her gates
Ajar, the rising sun
Shall find me luggaged, on my way
Before the sands have run.
