THE NEED FOR STOICISM IN THE STOA OF ATTALUS by THOMAS MCGRATH

First Line: THE PITCHER THAT WENT TO THE WELL TOO OFTEN
Last Line: And the urinals (by Crane) have all gone to pot
Subject(s): IRONY; STOICISM;

The pitcher that went to the well too often
Has a mighty crack,
And the balls on some of the statues are sadly shot,
The GE drinking fountain is out of whack,
And the urinals (by Crane) have all gone to pot.
