TO THE LARGE AND BEAUTIFUL MISS by THOMAS MOORE

First Line: IN WEDLOCK A SPECIES OF LOTTERY LIES,
Last Line: FOR WHAT COULD I DO WITH THE WHOLE?
Subject(s): LOTTERIES;

IN wedlock a species of lottery lies,
Where in blanks and in prizes we deal;
But how comes it that you, such a @3capital prize@1,
Should so long have @3remain'd in the wheel?@1
If ever, by Fortune's indulgent decree,
To me such a ticket should roll,
A @3sixteenth@1, Heaven knows! were sufficient for @3me;@1
For what could I do with the @3whole?@1
