JOTTINGS: ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE by JAMES OPPENHEIM

First Line: WHEN I GET THERE, ONCE I TOLD MYSELF
Last Line: AND I SEE NOW IT WILL NEVER BE OVER, EVEN IN DEATH.

But when I got there, to my amazement,
The fight was not over ...
And I see now it will never be over, even in death@1.
