THE BAKERY WAITRESS by JAMES OPPENHEIM

First Line: WHAT FACE LIFTS, SO PERFECT IN PROFILE?
Last Line: CURIOUS, HOW VERY BLIND THESE EATERS CAN BE!
Subject(s): BAKERIES AND BAKERS; BEAUTY;

WHAT face lifts, so perfect in profile?
Who speaks to the young men at the table?
Is it Minerva slipped from her marble?

But what do the young men see?
One calls: "Hey! kid! butter-cakes and coffee!"

Curious, how very blind these eaters can be!
