FLIGHT by CLINTON SCOLLARD

First Line: TELL ME WHERE GOES / THE WRAITH THAT WAS THE ROSE
Last Line: LEAVING AN ASHEN HUSK!

TELL me where goes
The wraith that was the rose,
Or lily, dight
With delicate delight!

Tell me where flies
The gold of morning skies,
The radiant dream
Hid in the sunset beam;

And I will say
Whither life slips away
Into the dusk,
Leaving an ashen husk!
