ITALIAN QUATRAIN: ROME: UNDER THE DOME OF ST. PETER'S by LEONORA SPEYER

First Line: AT LAST THEY BUILDED WIDE ENOUGH, O LORD!
Last Line: THIS LIFTING DOME LIFTS ON TO WHERE THOU ART!
Subject(s): SAINT PETER'S CHURCH, ROME;

At last they builded wide enough, O Lord!
Here is no walled confinement of Thy Heart,
No ending to the echoes of Thy Word;
This lifting dome lifts on to where Thou art!
