Poet Analysis

First Line: I PUT MY SOUL INTO YOUR EYES
Last Line: WITH LOVING YOU?

I put my soul into your eyes;
I looked, and saw, and did not see
My own soul looking back at me;
I saw my soul without surprise
Look from your eyes.

I take my soul away from you;
I see you now, and seeing prove
How steadfast and how blind is love;
I love: what has the soul to do
With loving you?
