A CHRISTMAS CRADLE by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: LET MY HEART THE CRADLE BE
Last Line: GREATER PEACE SHALL REIGN WITHIN.
Subject(s): CHRISTMAS; CRADLES; NATIVITY, THE;

Let my heart the cradle be
Of Thy bleak Nativity!
Tossed by wintry tempests wild,
If it rock Thee, Holy Child,
Then, as grows the outer din,
Greater peace shall reign within.
