A MOUSE, A CAT, AND AN IRISH BULL by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: A LITTLE MOUSE NIBBLED A LIMBURGER CHEESE
Last Line: "I SHOULD DIE IF I LIVED ON SUCH DIET."
Subject(s): ANIMALS; CATS; MICE;

A little mouse nibbled a Limburger cheese,
And back to his bedchamber stole,
Whence never again was he destined to squeeze,
For the smell was too large for the hole.

And a pussy cat, passing, instinctively stood,
For her appetite urged her to try it;
But she answered her stomach that grumbled for food,
"I should die if I lived on such diet."
