AN INCONGRUITY by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: AS THEY HAVE SAFELY REACHED THE CHURCH
Last Line: WE HAD A POUNCH-AS PILOT.

That, to direct them in the search,
We had a Pounch-as Pilot.
