CHIMNEY STACKS by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: IN WINTER'S COLD AND SUMMER'S HEAT
Last Line: TO BUILD THEIR NEIGHBORING NESTS.
Subject(s): BIRDS' NESTS;

In winter's cold and summer's heat
The hospitable chimneys greet
Their never-failing guests;
For when the sparks are upward gone,
The swallows downward come anon
To build their neighboring nests.
