CLIFFS by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: FOREVER FACE TO FACE
Last Line: A WORLD UNKNOWN.

Forever face to face,
As towered of old
Within the Holy Place
The wings of gold.

One heralding the day
With kindled crest;
One reddened with the ray
That fires the west.

The bosom-vale between
Alike their own;
To each a heaven unseen,
A world unknown.
