MY TRUANT by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: I BADE HIM SLEEP, AND HE OBEYED
Last Line: AND WOULD NOT WAKE AGAIN.
Subject(s): SLEEP;

I bade him sleep, and he obeyed;
But when I called him back to pain
Within the slumber-world he stayed
And would not wake again.
