RAIMENT by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: HOW BEAUTIFUL YOUR FEATHERS BE!'
Last Line: "TO KEEP US FROM THE COLD!"
Subject(s): TREES;

'How beautiful your @3feathers@1 be!"
The redbird sang to the tulip-tree,
New garbed in autumn gold.
"Alas!" the bending branches sighed,
"They cannot like your @3leaves@1 abide
To keep us from the cold!"
