THE FORFEITURE by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: WHO FIRST BENEATH THE MISTLETOE
Last Line: MAKE WAY FOR HAPPIER SONS OF MEN.
Subject(s): CHRISTMAS; NATIVITY, THE;

Who first beneath the mistletoe
On Christmas night is found,
Must pay a forfeiture, we know,
To them that stand around.
Approach, ye angel choirs, and then
Make way for happier sons of men.
