THE MAST by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: THE WINDS THAT ONCE MY PLAYMATES WERE
Last Line: WHEN O'ER MY WANDERING WAY THEY COME.
Subject(s): MASTS; SHIPS & SHIPPING;

THE winds that once my playmates were
No more my voice responsive hear,
Nor know me, naked now and dumb,
When o'er my wandering way they come.
