THE TURNS OF THE WATERCOURSE by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: IT FALLS FROM HEAVEN UPON THE HILL
Last Line: IT TURNS TO HEAVEN AGAIN.
Subject(s): WATER;

It falls from heaven upon the hill,
And hurries down to turn the mill
And grind the ripened grain;
Then, duty done, it turns away,
And like a spirit, turned to spray,
It turns to heaven again.
