TWO EASTER LILIES by JOHN BANISTER TABB

First Line: BEHOLD THE REED OF SCORN
Last Line: HER LORD TO GREET.
Subject(s): EASTER; FLOWERS; HOLIDAYS; LILIES; THE RESURRECTION;

Behold the reed of scorn,
Like Aaron's rod,
Hath blossomed to adorn
The risen God.

And she, the broken bloom
That balmed His feet,
Is first before His tomb,
Her Lord to greet.
