WIRELESS TELEGRAPHY by AMOS RUSSEL WELLS

First Line: WE LAY TOO MANY LINES
Last Line: AND MAKE OUR GOD OUR PRAYER.
Subject(s): PRAYER;

We lay too many lines,
We build too many barks,
We drudge on heavy, clumsy designs
Like antiquated arks.

We need to trust the void,
Launch forth into the air,
Know we are one with the farthest sun,
And make our God our prayer.
