HE WENT: THE MORNING TWINKLED DIM by ANONYMOUS

Last Line: THEN I REMEMBERED HE WAS DEAD
Subject(s): DEATH; "DEAD, THE;"

He went: the morning twinkled dim;
I woke, and lay a while abed
Thinking what I would say to him.
Then I remembered he was dead.
