"JOHN SMITH, FELLOW FINE" by ANONYMOUS

Last Line: "THAT'S TO MAKE HIM PACE WEEL, PACE WEEL, PACE WEEL"

JOHN Smith, fellow fine,
Can you shoe this horse of mine?
Yes I can, and that I can,
As well as any other man.
Put a nail upon his toe,
That's to make him trot and go.
Put a nail upon his sole,
That's to make him pay the toll.
Put a nail upon his heel,
That's to make him pace weel, pace weel, pace weel.
